Q?Why is my garage door stopping at a few inches?

Check to see if any object is obstructing the path of the sensors located at the bottom of the garage door track. Check for spider webs, debris or dirt on the lens, sticks, or anything along the roller track or Realignment may be necessary.

Q?Why is my garage door not opening?

An extension cable or torsion spring may be the issue. check to see if any rupture is present or evidence of dismantled mechanisms. Pull the emergency release to detach the door from the opener and manually lift and close the garage door. If it moves freely without difficulty it maybe the garage opener.  Also try, unplug and re-plug the garage door opener of electrical issues. It you are unable to fix the issue, call us to have a mechanic repair the problem.

Q?Can I repair the springs on my garage door?

Q?Why is my garage door transmitter not working?

If that does not work, look to replace the battery located on the inner portions of the console. Avoid changing and coding switches if visible. You can also check to see if coding switches match those on the power unit on the opener. If that does not work, call us for assistance.

Q?Do I replace the entire garage door if a panel is broken?

Yes. Section replacement is common. If there is no other damage to other mechanisms this a great option. If additional damage has occurred, it maybe a wise economic solution would be to replace the entire door. Have our techs diagnose the issue if you choose.
